Rothenburg ob der Tauber

Finally, a trip to one of my favorite towns: Rothenburg ob der Tauber! I have so many fond memories of this quaint old walled city.

And April was able to make connections with some memories as well ~ Here is a statue of St. Jacob of the pilgrimage she made across Spain.

Here you can see the clock tower reenact the bravery of a former mayor of the town ~ he had to down a stein of beer or risk his town being sacked! Ah, Germany!!!

So many lovely shops in addition to the Christmas stores

But we decided on the infamous Snowball o' Pastrydough!!!!
