While the girls headed for Bratislava, I took a detour to a little town I had visited years ago: Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic. It was sort of exciting to be off on a bus trip by myself, and the countryside was lovely.

The healing waters of Karlovy Vary are pretty steamy!! After taking in the water, it is recommended to walk slowly down the long corridors near this fountain. Very peaceful despite the tourists ~
Interestingly, this was the weekend of the International Film Festival!! I didn't see any stars, but it was still exciting to walk around and check out posters of new films!
