Well, just when I thought I had seen it all..... There was Halloween at CNG! Wow! It was just crazy! Everyone was dressed up, not just the little kids, but the big ones too. And the teachers. And the administrators. Everyone!
And that isn't all. The day before Halloween, a couple of classes presented at an assembly. They sang songs and recited poems. In costume. And there were pumpkins. And ghouls. And trolls. And witches!!! And in one of the skits for a poem, a little girl beheaded a cyclops!!! It was kind of violent!
And there was a poem about the Bogeyman. And it was pretty darned scary!! I almost wanted to leave the theater! It was such a strange, and very Halloweeny performance. I kind of liked it!
Oh, and we only had a half day of school, which was sort of strange, but wonderfully nice!
