Although I have been to various parts of Italy over the years, this trip was special. I would be visiting some familiar cities, some old memories, and some new sites.
It all began in Venice ~ one of my favorite little cities.
From there, I made my way to Cezinatico - This beach town is where I spent many a childhood summer with my Opa & Oma. I can still smell the wine and spaghetti, hear the clicking of ladies high heels on the streets the man on the beach selling, "salami..."
It had a bit of a different feel now in the winter.
From here, I headed inland to Florence, San Gimignano, and Pisa
And then it was off to Rome!
Napoli and Pompeii were my final destinations!!!
And finally, a little jaunt around Naples and ~ PIZZA!!!
